Sagatabscot Hill

Arthur and Dorothy French donated a Conservation Restriction on 15 acres to the

Trust in 2001. This tract of woodland and wildlife meadow contributes to, and

abuts, hundreds of protected acres extending into adjoining Princeton and

Holden – and is designated a core natural habitat by the Division of Fisheries and

Wildlife BioMap Land Use Coverage for Massachusetts. The land remains in the

ownership of the French family and is open to the public for hiking and nature

study.

Sterling Land Trust members are invited to participate in our annual cider pressing. Few things in life are sweeter than a cup of apple cider (cold) off the press.
